Care of cotton
Cotton is a soft and comfortable material, very pleasant for our babies! To take care of those pieces, we advise you to wash them at 30° on a delicate cycle with minimum spinning. Then, let them dry flat naturally and use a low temperature iron to avoid burning the fabric.
Care of silk
Silk is a fabric that offers excellent breathability, and appeals with its natural brilliance and its countless properties for our toddlers. It is very light, keeps the heat in winter and protects from heat in summer. We recommend cold hand washing and natural air drying. It is also advisable to use a very low temperature iron if you do not have a steamer.
Care of wool and cashmere
The properties and benefits of wool and cashmere have been proven for hundreds of years.
Cashmere and wool are often recommended to be washed by hand. However, if you are meticulous and have a good washing machine, you can do it “finger in the nose”;
So, let’s get started… :
- Turn your pieces inside out and slip them into a washing net.
- Make sure you choose the right detergent and to use only a small dose;
- Choose the right washing programme (wool, hand or quick); Wool and cashmere should be washed at 20°C or 30°C with a short cycle and a high speed spin (> 600 turns/ minute);
- Dry your jumpers flat, not in a clothes dryer !
Wool and cashmere are soft, so if you have dried them well flat, your jumpers should be ready to wear.
If not, iron them at a low temperature to avoid burning the fibres.
And that’s all there is to it…
Tip: put your jumpers on a cotton towel to dry them quicker. Cotton absorbs water that is within cashmere and wool super quickly.
Care of viscose
Viscose offers several advantages. Not only is it a fluid and pleasant fabric, its colors are also perfectly resistant to washing!
To take care of it properly, we recommend you to choose a delicate programme with the spin cycle at a minimum or by hand, and then to leave it to dry naturally flat. We recommend you to iron your viscose garments with a steamer or with an iron set at a very low temperature if you do not have a steamer.
Care of polyester
Polyester is a very resistant material that keeps its shine over time. It is also very light and soft, which makes it comfortable to wear. On top of that, it does not crease or shrink. It can be washed at 30° in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with the spin cycle at a minimum. Then all you have to do is let it dry naturally on a flat surface.
